Our Beliefs
God
We believe that the living God is the Creator of all things, Sovereign, Almighty, Omnipotent revealed as Triune: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three in one.
Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God. It is the final authority for our faith, morality and life.
Jesus Christ
We affirm that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He died for our sins and rose from the dead to offer us eternal life. Salvation comes through faith in Him alone as the Way, the Truth and the Life (John14:6)
Salvation
We are saved by grace through faith, not by our works. We trust in the free gift of God’s grace offered to us through Jesus Christ.
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God living in us, Comforter, Counselor, reminding us of the Word of God, empowering believers and guiding us.
Marriage and Sexuality
We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy belongs exclusively within that covenant.
Role of the Church
To make disciples of Jesus Christ living out the Great Commission as found in Matthew 28:19-20 “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Sacraments
We celebrate two sacraments: Baptism (for infants, those professing their faith and those reaffirming their faith) and Holy Communion (for anyone who believes Jesus is Savior).
